Q: What sorts of locations do you target?
A: The arts runs predominantly comprise cafes but also include delis, bookshops, BCC Libraries, music shops, fashion outlets, shopping centres, community noticeboards and universities.

Q: When do I need to get the posters/brochures/flyers to you?
A: Deadline for delivery of materials for the Arts Runs is strictly Monday 4.30pm of the week of distribution.

Q: When are the materials distributed and when is the distribution complete?
A: Brisbane distribution occurs Tuesday to Monday for all material received by the Monday 4.30 pm delivery dealine. Most of the distribution is completed by the weekend. For regional distribution, start and finsihing dates vary, please contact us for more information.

Q: How long do the materials stay on display?
A: For posters 1-2 weeks, for brochures and flyers 3-4 weeks. Longer campaigns require replenishment distribution.

Q: How do you distribute posters & brochures?
A: We have a stable & dedicated team of long-standing distribution staff who have built up friendly and professional goodwill relationships with all of our venues. All posters are placed legally inside outlets and we always take extra time to clean away out-of-date materials and ensure every location is up-to- date every week and attractive to the eye. We place posters on walls, windows and in changing rooms (fashion outlets) and place brochures in our perspex brochure display racks (approx 180 currently in network) as well as on counters, near magazines, newspapers and street press.

Q: What other sorts of locations can you cover in Brisbane?
A: We have specialised databases of locations such as hotels, backpackers, arts organisations and indigenous organisations, if your event requires targetting to a specialised set of locations, please let us know.

Q: What sort of reporting can you provide me?
A: We provide photo distribution reports for all campaigns, free of charge. Typically, these photo reports will consist of 20-40 images of your posters, brochures or flyers, in key locations from the distribution. The images will be emailed to you the week after distribution has occured. Additionally, we can provide a breakdown of the areas covered and the distribution dates and quantities. If required, we can provide a full itemised breakdown of the locations that are delivered to; please note that we must receive your request for this additional service, prior to distribution and that putting together an Excel file of the locations will incur an administration fee per location.

Q: I have a high profile event in Brisbane but I am unsure of what areas to target and what sort of quantities to print - can you offer consultation for this?
A: Yes, this is one of our fortes. We take into account your event, venue, length of season, attendance required, marketing elements, time of year and budget to create a highly effective campaign for your event.

Q: I'm doing a show at The Zoo/Troubadour/Rics Cafe/The Globe. How many posters should I put out?
To cover all the right places in the inner city, 150 posters is recommended, with 100 as the minimum order. For complete coverage of Brisbane, including Unis, Posterbill can use up to 400 posters in a single distribution.

Q: When should I put my posters out?
A: For a single distribution, we recommend commencing distribution 2-3 weeks out from your event. For longer campaigns replenishment distribution is required, please ask us for details.

Q: How long do my posters stay up?
Posters in inner city areas have quite a good survival rate Min week to two weeks. For longer campaigns, replenishment is required in the third week and every other week after that.

Q: When do I need to get the posters to you?
A: Deadline for delivery of materials for the Band Express run is strictly Monday 4.30pm of the week of distribution.

Q: What sorts of places do you put the posters in?
A: The band run covers cafes, cd/vinyl retailers (incl Rockinghorse, Kill the Music, JB HiFi etc), music shops (incl The Guitar Shop, Billy Hydes Drumworx etc), fashion outlets and rehearsal spaces.

Q: Do you put posters in outside locations or on poles?
A: No. As with every other city in Australia, this is illegal and local authorities are extremely quick to remove posters distributed in this way and also may issue hefty fines.

Q: Why should I use Posterbill to put up my posters?
A: We are the most established distribution service in QLD. Established in 1994, the business got it's start distributing posters for local bands, venues and touring acts. Though the business has expanded to cater to all markets, service to this industry has remained a priority to us - as a result we have created a specialised range of distribution packages based on our long experience and personal passion for live original music in Brisbane.
